The future of work in health care in Nepal: a critical sustainability perspective with a focus on gender, age, and generation

Project duration

June 2022 – December 2024

Short description

Gender plays a vital role in the healthcare sector, with women comprising the majority of healthcare workers. Their contributions are essential to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. This study focuses on Nepal's healthcare sector, examining it from a gender perspective using art-based techniques. The research is part of a larger project called "Healthcare unbound: A transnational perspective on the future of the world of work in healthcare," which is being conducted in collaboration with the Geographical Institute of the University of Berne.
