Gender equality is a major concern of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and the R4D programme. The SNSF is fully committed to supporting women who wish to advance their academic careers. Female researchers, especially those from the Global South, face unique challenges in advancing their academic careers.
These networking events with workshops target SNSF-supported female postdoc researchers from the Global South and invite them to discuss the challenges and enablers of their academic careers. The Interdisciplinary Centre of Gender Studies of the University of Bern (ICFG) is commissioned by the SNSF to hold these events in collaboration with Kathmandu University (KU).
